Join us for the Great Cow Harbor 10K Run on Saturday, September 19th, 2026. Recognized by Runner's World as one of the top 100 races in the US and praised by New England Runner as a "winner" with a "big race atmosphere in a small town on the Island," this celebrated event consistently sells out. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned athlete, there's a race for you—choose from the popular 2K Fun Run/Walk (max capacity 750 runners) or the main 10K (max capacity 5,000 runners).
Racing for a cause
The Great Cow Harbor 10K Run and 2K Fun Run/Walk is a nonprofit 501(c)3. We are proud to support the Special Olympics and other local organizations, like the Northwell Health Foundation, the Ecumenical Lay Council Food Pantry, Save the Sound, the Northport American Legion Post 694 and the Lewis Oliver Farm Sanctuary.
